The convent of San Francesco chosen as the setting for the documentary on Kiril Cholakov
on 11/05/2009.

In recent days, Bagnacavallo has been the setting for the filming by the Bulgarian TV Btv, the first national private broadcaster operating in Bulgaria. The crew, led by curator Irina Batkova, indeed chose the surroundings of the San Francesco convent as the setting for a documentary about the artist of Bulgarian origin, but currently operating in Rimini, Kiril Cholakov. The television footage is part of a project that includes a series of videos focused on the activities of the main Bulgarian artists who, due to their work, have moved abroad. In addition to the interview with Cholakov and the documentation of some of his works and installations, the footage focused on the spaces of the San Francesco convent and their particular charm as a venue for contemporary art installations.
